Close out instructions 1/25/2016

 

Good evening,

Our records indicate your county has some workstations that were not able to successfully closeout on Monday, 1/25/2016. Please follow the steps below before starting the new business day:

(1) Check for Set Aside for transactions

  • Chose Miscellaneous
  • Complete Vehicle Transactions
  • Cancel any transaction found in Set Aside

(2) If you had any workstations unable to complete a transaction or did not receive a receipt, and no transactions are in Set Aside state, run a Transaction Reconciliation Report using the steps below. Otherwise proceed to step three (3).

  • Choose Funds
  • Funds Balance Reports and press Enter
  • Select Range – Since Last Closeout
  • Select Transaction Reconciliation Report
  • Deselect Display Report(s) before Printing and press Enter
  • Check the Transaction Reconciliation Report to ensure the transaction that you were working on is not on the report
  • If it is then use the Transaction ID to void transaction

(3) Follow normal closeout procedures and then begin your new work day.
