COMPLETE: eTAG system maintenance (7/17/16 @ 10:30 AM CST)

 

Good morning,

 

The eTAG system maintenance was completed as of 10:30 AM CST this morning (7/17/2016). 

 

After implementation it was determined that a limited number of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) users may encounter an issue when attempting to print a temporary tag using IE.  Chrome and Firefox are not affected. The IE issue can be resolved by changing a setting. If you encounter the printing issue please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.  If this does not resolve the issue please contact the Service Desk or utilize the Chrome or Firefox browsers.

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer setting change: 

  • Click on Internet Options
  • Click on the “Advanced” Tab
  • Scroll down to “Browsing”
  • Uncheck the “Enable third-party browser extensions*”
  • Reboot your computer

Please remember that after using an Internet Down tag, you must enter the information for that tag into eTAG as soon as the system is accessible. Doing this will ensure you always have the full allocation of unused Internet Down tags available when you need them. Also remember that unused Internet Down tags are valid for one year from the date they are printed.
