New training sessions on the single sticker program, which begins statewide March 1, 2015, are scheduled for December 2014 to provide information on processing title and registration transactions. Under the single sticker program, proof of vehicle inspection will be required to obtain initial registration at time of title or to renew registration.
The December training sessions will present an overview of new system functionality in the Registration and Title System (RTS) and other Texas Department of Motor Vehicles’ (TxDMV) systems used for vehicle registration. The sessions will occur during the second and third weeks of December 2014.
The December 9-11, 2014, sessions will focus on RTS. The December 16-18, 2014, sessions will focus on other TxDMV systems, including the Internet Vehicle Title and Registration System (IVTRS), WebSub, and applications used by Texas dealers.
TxDMV systems are scheduled to be updated for the “Two Steps, One Sticker” program with RTS Release 7.6.0 effective March 1, 2015.
