Please review and distribute as appropriate.
We sent information yesterday indicating that NMVTIS errors for transactions processed in your office on Thursday, May 22, would appear on your NMVTIS Inquiry Error Report this morning, Wednesday, May 28. While the report was generated, the inquiry process was not completely successful. Many of the transactions processed on May 22 were not processed through NMVTIS.
In order to minimize any impact on your office, the department will handle any errors from the remaining transactions processed on May 22 upon title issuance. Please process the transactions that were generated on this morning’s NMVTIS Inquiry Error Report according to normal procedures. In the event that any of the remaining transactions result in NMVTIS errors, the department will resolve those accordingly.
This communication is for informational purposes only in the event that your office noticed that your error report appeared unusually low or blank. No additional action is required from your office as a result of this incomplete inquiry.
We appreciate your understanding.
