IVTRS Issue Identified
TxDMV has identified an issue affecting the Internet Vehicle Title Registration System (IVTRS) where insurance cannot be automatically verified when the customer is attempting to renew their registration. Customers are being required to manually enter their insurance information as part of the renewal transaction. A fix has been identified and will be implemented after business hours this evening. A message will be sent post implementation confirming the issue has been resolved.
As you are approving IVTRS renewal transactions for your county you will notice the “View Insurance” button is enabled, prompting manual verification. Please process these renewals in accordance with the standard manual verification process.
