Refactored RTS: Printing performance and NMVTIS report updates scheduled for 9/24/2015
Your feedback matters!
We have heard your comments about printing speed in the Refactored RTS system and the impact it has on your ability to service our mutual customers.
On September 24, 2015, we’re deploying an update to the Refactored RTS workstations designed to enhance printing speeds. You should see a reduction in the time it takes for the first page to begin printing after completing a title or registration transaction. With this update, your documents should begin printing in five to seven seconds.
As a reminder, printing speed can also be improved by turning off the sleep timer functionality of your printer. This will prevent the printer from going to sleep when it is not being used and will eliminate the time it takes for the printer to warm up before printing the first transaction after going into sleep mode. For your convenience, the instructions for turning off the sleep timer are attached.
Also in response to county requests, the NMVTIS report has been updated to include a substation sort (see screenshot below). This report enhancement will be deployed over the weekend of September 26, 2015.
Thank you for your feedback. It is because of your input that the TxDMV is able to make continued enhancements to the system to improve the overall user experience.
