RTS New Password Reset

Dear Registration and Title System (RTS) user:

TxDMV implemented new RTS password requirements in order to make the system more secure.  The new rules went into effect on February 28, 2015. 

Please utilize P@ssw0rd (with a Zero) to reset passwords or establish new RTS accounts.

Current Password Rules

Must be at least eight (8) characters long

  • Must have at least one UPPER CASE letter:              examples: ABCDE
  • Must have at least one LOWER CASE letter:             examples: abcde
  • Must have at least one NUMBER:                            examples:12345
  • Must have at least one SPECIAL CHARACTER:          examples: !@#$%^&*():;<>?[]{}
