Single Sticker Year Two: Important Resource

Good morning,

As you are no doubt aware the initial sync-up year of the Single Sticker program is coming to an end with year two beginning this Tuesday, March 1st.  The start of Single Sticker year two means additional program requirements will come in to effect. Vehicles will now need to pass inspection no earlier than 90 days before registration expiration in order to successfully renew their registration either in person, online, or via mail.

In an effort to assist you in explaining this new part of the Texas Two Step to your customers, TxDMV has prepared a calendar that uses a mock registration sticker to precisely indicate the earliest date that motorists may get their vehicle inspected to comply with the new law.  Instructions on how you and your customers can use this new calendar are included in the attachment. As always, you can visit www.TwoStepsOneSticker.com for more information.

Best regards,
