The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) would like to encourage all customers to prioritize personal safety in advance of Hurricane Harvey. As you know, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) relies upon information in the RTS system to ensure the safety of law enforcement across the state and the citizens of Texas. In order to minimize the risk of a service interruption to law enforcement, the RTS deployment for this weekend has been cancelled. A follow up message on the new deployment schedule will be sent as additional information becomes available.
