The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) will provide information on the next phase of the Single Sticker Program, “Two Steps, One Sticker,” beginning March 1, 2016. During Phase 2 of the program, statutory timeframes will be enforced prior to obtaining or renewing registration.
Under the next phase of the program, all TxDMV software applications, including the Registration and Title System, webSUB, and webDEALER, will electronically verify a vehicle has a passing inspection within the appropriate timeframe prior to allowing registration issuance or renewal. To help you prepare, the following webinars are scheduled to provide an overview of the year two changes and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

For tax assessor-collectors and deputies, continuing education credit may be considered for your participation in certain TxDMV hosted webinars. A submission form has been created for you to log your information on the TxDMV website at www.TxDMV.gov on the TAC hub under the “TAC Toolbox” section.
