“Two Steps, One Sticker” Updated Promotional Material

Please review and distribute as appropriate.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is happy to announce updated promotional material for “Two Steps, One Sticker” is now available. TxDMV has updated the dealer brochure and the push card designs. To assist in ordering, the push cards are titled “Kick Up Your Heels,” which describes the change in state law, and “Misstepped,” for those without a verifiable, current inspection. The push cards are two-sided with English text on one side and Spanish text on the other.

This material is also available at http://www.twostepsonesticker.com under “Resources” in the “Download Support Materials” tab. In addition, the website has an inspection calculator, FAQs, a list of fees, and other information.

The updated brochure and push cards may be ordered through your regional service center (RSC). We will continue to provide you with “Two Steps, One Sticker” information as we move towards implementation on March 1, 2015. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to customer service as we prepare to roll out this major program.

Thank you,

Jeremiah Kuntz, Director
Vehicle Titles and Registration Division
Texas Department of Motor Vehicles
