Updates to Form VTR-999 and Special Plate Guide

The specialty plate guide and form listed below have been updated to change the name of the “Choose Life” specialty license plate to the “Support Adoption” specialty license plate. The following guide and form have been updated to reflect the plate name change:

• Specialty Plate Guide
• Application for Specialty License Plate (Form VTR-999)

The updated Guide is available on the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) Tax Assessor-Collectors Hub webpage at https://www.txdmv.gov/tax-assessor-collectors. The guide can be found on the bottom left side of the page under “Guides.” Below is a screenshot showing the location of the guide.
