TxDMV publishes rule proposals in the August 23, 2024, issue of the Texas Register.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) has proposed rules in the August 23, 2024, issue of the Texas Register. A summary of the proposed rules and the proposed language is available on TxDMV’s website at https://www.TxDMV.gov/general-counsel/proposed-and-adopted-rules-2024.

The proposals are posted for public comment until 5:00 p.m. on September 23, 2024.

The proposals include:

• revisions to 43 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Chapter 218, concerning cleanup; and
• revisions to 43 TAC Chapter 224, concerning cleanup.
