The department has updated several title and registration related forms as a result of HB 3297, enacted by the 88th Legislature, which eliminates the state safety inspection for all non-commercial vehicles effective January 1, 2025. The forms have been revised to remove reference to a state safety inspection and/or update inspection related information as appropriate.
