Texas Permitting and Routing Optimization System (TxPROS) Upgrades Scheduled for March 9, 2026

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles will release an update to TxPROS at 6 p.m., March 9, 2026. We do not anticipate any system downtime. This update will introduce a variety of new and improved features designed to enhance the overall customer experience. Key enhancements include: 

• Improved route generation performance
• Streamlined turn-by-turn driving directions
• Enhanced ability to identify and closeout open Hubometer permits
• Increased security features
