Texas DMV

Please review and distribute as appropriate.

Registration and Title Bulletin (RTB) #002-26 provides guidance on allowing active-duty military service members serving outside of Texas and claiming Texas as their legal domicile/residence to obtain initial registration and/or to renew registration without providing a Texas address.

RTB #002-26 is attached, along with the new Certification of Texas Legal Domicile/Residence by Active-Duty Military (Form VTR-218).

Thank you,

Annette Quintero, Director
