Revised Title Related Forms

Please review and distribute as appropriate.

The department has updated the following three forms:

1. Licensed Vehicle Storage Facility Lien Foreclosure (Form VTR-265-VSF) was updated to include information regarding notifications made on a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) approved third-party website, as a result of House Bill (HB) 3928 from the 89^th Legislative Session.

2. Standard Abbreviations for Vehicle Makes and Body Styles (Form VTR-249) was updated to include additional vehicle makes.
       •     As a reminder, the form is not all inclusive but intends to capture the most commonly known vehicle makes. If a vehicle make is not found within the dropdown list in department systems, the make abbreviation can be manually entered.

3. Motor Vehicle Appraisal for Tax Collector Hearing / Bonded Title (Form VTR-125) was updated to include the requirement that the form must be submitted within 30 days of appraisal.

The revised forms are attached and are also available on our website at www.TxDMV.gov/forms for immediate use.
