On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) will update
the eLICENSING System with Release 25.2.1 which contains the content summarized below.
eLICENSING Business Reported Issues:
• Dealer Temporary Plates: Plates and Stickers App – Add New Dealer Temporary
Plates to the eLICENSING Application Processes
• Add Dealer Temporary Plates to “My Licenses & Plates”
• Dealer Temporary Plates: Update the Packing List
• Dealer Temporary Plates: Update the License Record
• Dealer Temporary Plates: Calculate Sequence Plate for Temporary – Motorcycle
• Update to the Independent (GDN) Motor Vehicle Dealers List Business Email Field
