Chapter 15 – Odometers
Section 15.3, “Application for Title/Title Assignment,” was updated to include a new subsection for “Short Term Rental/Lease Transactions,” to include the exemption from odometer disclosure requirements for new motor vehicles purchased by a rental or lease company who are in the business of renting or leasing vehicles for a period of 30 days or less as outlined in Registration and Title Bulletin #003-24.
Chapter 25 –Motor Vehicle Dealers
Section 25.1, “Definitions and General Information,” was updated to include a note regarding use of the date on a weight certificate to determine if a title application for an incomplete vehicle has been submitted timely, once the incomplete vehicle has been completed and is eligible for title and registration.
