Please remember that if you used an Internet Down tag, you must enter the information for
that tag into webDEALER as soon as the system is accessible. Doing this will ensure you always
have the full allocation of unused Internet Down tags available when you need them. Also
remember that unused Internet Down tags are valid for one year from the date they are printed.

Good morning,
Over the weekend of March 22, 2025, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles
(TxDMV) will update the webDEALER System with Release 25.2 which contains the
content summarized below.
Enhancements:
• Emission Inspection Requirements are Based Off Dealer and Buyer County
• The Emissions Inspection Fee is Charged If Found in The Inspection Database.
• Non-Commercial Vehicles are treated as commercial vehicles if a commercial
vehicle inspection id found or manually entered.
• Buyer Tags for Out of State Vehicles are Excluded from the Emissions Inspection
Fee and Inspection Replacement Fee.

An AT&T network outage is affecting the TxDMV Wichita Falls Regional Service Center and other sites in
the West Texas region.
Support Staff are aware of the issue and have rerouted phone calls to alternate RSC locations as a
temporary workaround until the AT&T network services are restored.
