The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is currently accepting applications for the Performance Quality Recognition Program. The deadline for submission is October 31.
The TxDMV understands the importance of the services you provide, as well as the impact you have on the overall satisfaction of Texas motorists, and we want you to be recognized for your achievements in providing quality registration and titling services to the motoring public. The Performance Quality Recognition Program, implemented in 2017, focuses on achievements in: business process, fraud prevention, customer service, and training. Achievement in these pillars of your registration and titling work certainly merit recognition, and I invite each of you to apply.
The Performance Quality Recognition Program stipulates all recognitions expire one year after the county tax assessor-collector’s re-election. As you are aware, 2020 was an election year; thus if you have previously received a PQRP recognition, that recognition expires later this year. A previously recognized county tax assessor-collector must reapply to retain an existing recognition. They may also apply for a higher level of recognition. In either case, a new application is required.
The Performance Quality Recognition Program Application (Form VTR-004) can be found at www.txdmv.gov/county-recognition. We are glad to assist you in this process and encourage you to contact your TxDMV Regional Service Center Manager if you have any questions or need assistance with obtaining data.
We recommend sending your completed application to County-Recognition@txdmv.gov.
Alternatively, you may send mailed applications to:
Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Vehicle Titles and Registration Division Attn: County Recognition Program 4000 Jackson Avenue Austin, Texas 78731
Thank you for being “Driven to Serve!”
