Over the weekend of August 10, 2024, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV)
updated the Registration and Titling System (RTS) with Release 24.3 which contains the
content summarized below.
Enhancements:
• Premium Embossed – Black & Gold Specialty License Plate
• Changes for embossed plate (new order and replacement) -not manufactured
by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ)
• Premium Embossed – Black & Yellow Specialty License Plate
• Florida A & M University Specialty License Plate
• Blue & Gold Premium Embossed Specialty License Plate
• Phi Beta Sigma Specialty License Plate
