Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Huntsville Notifications Update

As of July 5, 2018, the Wynne Unit in Huntsville is under lock-down status. This is a routine lock-down. At this time TDCJ anticipates being in this status through the end of this week and probably next week. No special plate orders will be filled or shipped until the lock-down is over. Small emergency orders received through allocations will be filled. Emergency orders consist of warehouse items (non-special plates) that will sustain a county or region that is near depletion for a few days. These orders must be kept to a minimum as they will be shipped UPS.

An update to the lock-down status will be provided as information is received from TDCJ.
