TxDMV publishes a rule proposal in the April 26, 2024, issue of the Texas Register.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) has proposed a rule in the April 26, 2024, issue of the Texas Register. A summary of the proposed rule and the proposed language is available on TxDMV’s website at https://www.txdmv.gov/general-counsel/proposed-and-adopted-rules-2024.

The proposal is posted for public comment until 5:00 p.m. on May 28, 2024.

The proposal includes:

• revisions to 43 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 223, concerning compliance and investigations.
