The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) was proud to release the new eTAG system on April 9, 2018, delivering valuable functionality and security features. While the deployment was largely successful, there have been some issues identified by users that require our immediate attention. Our team is working hard to make needed repairs in webDEALER and eTAG and ensure the system is fully functional for users. Several of the reported issues have been repaired; however, four remaining repairs are still in development. If you are experiencing any issues, please review the attachment below which provides more specific details.
