Good afternoon,
Over the weekend of May 10, 2024, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) updated the webDealer System with Release 24.2 which contains the content summarized below.
Enhancements:
• Remaining balance added for TxDMV users when allocating internet down tags.
• Upload webDEALER title transactions to FileNet without waiting for a release from
the Registration and Titling System (RTS).
• Restrict the creation of buyer tags by motorcycle Dealers to motorcycles only.
• Notify webDEALER administrators when an eTAG allotment threshold has been met.
• National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) brand check for buyer,
converter, and vehicle specific tags.
