As a reminder, if you are unable to print buyer’s tags, you should use your pre-printed Internet
Down tags. Every dealer is allowed a minimum of 30 Internet Down tags. Please remember that
after using an Internet Down tag, you must enter the information for that tag into webDealer
as soon as the system is accessible. Doing this, will ensure you always have the full allocation of
unused Internet Down tags available when you need them. Internet Down tags are valid for one
year from the date they are printed.

Good evening,
Details: TxDMV is aware of an issue in IVTRS/TxT where customers were under charged for
their renewal. A permanent fix was implemented Friday night (3/3).
Workaround: The pending TxT/IVTRS renewals were processed Friday night (3/3). Counties
will receive a 99-report covering both 3/2 and 3/3. The pending TxT/IVTRS renewals with
release dates 3/2-3/6 with incorrect fees were automatically declined; those customers will
receive a refund and a renewal declined letter. VTR recommends that the counties tell these
customers to come into the county for their renewal or try again online.

Good morning,
Details: TxDMV is aware of an issue in IVTRS/TxT where customers are under charged for
their renewal. We are working on a permanent solution to this problem.
Workaround: TxDMV cancelled the renewal approval and sticker printing for Thursday (3/2).
These renewals will be reviewed and any with incorrect fees will be rejected. Rejections will
result in a refund to the customer, an email to the customer, and require that customer to
initiate another online renewal. This also means the counties will not receive their 99 report
this morning.
Tonight (3/3) TxDMV will re-enable the process to transition the online renewals (registrations
updated, stickers printed). Tonight’s run will include the Thursday night records.

Inspection Verification Prior to Printing a Buyer's Tag

Late last week, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) became aware
of some users experiencing technical issues with County TxIRP Voucher payments.
The issue was first identified on the February 17th vouchers.

Good afternoon,
TxDMV is aware of issues experienced where vehicle inspections are not found when
attempting to complete a registration. We are working with the appropriate agency
counterparts and will provide updates.
Workaround: The VIR can be entered manually in RTS, webDEALER and webSUB.
Update @ 2:30 PM 02/23/2023
The root cause has been identified in an external partner system. TCEQ worked
with their vendor to implement a fix that allows the TxDMV (and tax offices) to
see inspections up through yesterday, February 23, 2023, via www.mytxcar.org.
This visibility will facilitate manual vehicle registration processing. The fix also
allows TCEQ to upload records to the DPS inspection cloud database. TCEQ
anticipates that all stored cloud records will be uploaded to the DPS cloud prior
to 6:00 AM tomorrow, Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Normalcy should return (e.g., online registrations, car dealership requests,
in-person registrations processing electronically etc.) once all cloud records are
uploaded.
We will provide an update once the issue has been fully resolved.
