TxDMV proposes rule concerning required registration and title system (RTS) training

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) has proposed new §217.75 concerning required training for a person performing registration or titling services through the department’s registration and title system (RTS). The proposed new section is posted for public comment until 5:00 p.m. on September 23, 2019. The proposed language is attached and is also available on TxDMV’s website at
https://www.txdmv.gov/general-counsel/proposed-and-adopted-rules.

The proposed new section and any received written comments will be presented to the TxDMV board for adoption at an upcoming board meeting. The meeting agendas are posted on the TxDMV website at
http://www.txdmv.gov/about-us/txdmv-board-meetings.
