TxDMV publishes rule adoptions in the August 28, 2026, issue of the Texas Register.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) adopts a rule in the August 28, 2026, issue of the Texas Register. The adopted rule is available on TxDMV’s website at https://www.TxDMV.gov/about-us/general-counsel/proposed-and-adopted-rules-2026.

The adoption includes revisions to 43 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 221, relating to license processing for military service members, spouses, and veterans; and cleanup.
