TxDMV publishes rule adoptions in the December 27, 2019, issue of the Texas Register

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) has adopted rules to 43 TAC Ch. 217 and 43 TAC Ch. 221 in the December 27, 2019, issue of the Texas Register. The adopted language is available on TxDMV’s website at https://www.txdmv.gov/general-counsel/proposed-and-adopted-rules.

 

The adoptions are effective January 2, 2020, and include:

            (1) new §217.15 concerning title to a travel trailer used by the government agency;

            (2) amendments to §217.27 concerning extended registration of a trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer;

            (3) amendments to §217.41 concerning disabled parking placard applications; and

            (4) amendments to §§221.1, 221.2, 211.11, 221.13, 221.20, 221.41; repeal of §217.12; and new §221.54 concerning salvage vehicle dealer licensing, licensing fees, site inspections, and the activities of an independent motor vehicle dealer holding a general distinguishing number.
