Good morning,
TxDMV is aware of reported RTS connectivity issues and that some RTS users cannot log in.
Support staff has implemented a series of “unlocks” to address the RTS user log in issues.
If you are a RTS user that did not experience a login issue and/or did not experience any
lock out on your account, we still ask that you kindly log out of RTS, then log in again in order
to synchronize with RTS “unlock” commands so as to reestablish assured connectivity.
08/01/2023 @ 09:55 AM – How to handle transactions
Scenario #1: You have completed the transaction but can’t print the transaction receipt.
○ Attempt to re-print the receipt
○ If unable to re-print, void the transaction and re-process the transaction
• You will need to run a transaction reconciliation report to obtain the trans ID#,
in order to void, should you not have the trans ID# already
Scenario #2: You did not complete the transaction, and when you try to complete it,
the system tells you that the transaction is still in-process.
○ Access the pending transaction from your set asides
○ This should allow you to access the transaction to complete processing
Scenario #3: You did not complete the transaction, and it’s not in set aside.
○ Run the transaction reconciliation report to verify those transactions
which are not completed
○ Redo transaction if the transaction was not completed.

Good morning,
The TxDMV RTS Batch for the night of 07/31/2023 is still processing at this time,
including transactions and reporting.
The Data Support Services (DSS) Team is unable to run reporting queries at this time.
The Cognos Active Registration Cube, used for access to self-service reporting needs,
Cognos and Administrative Reporting will be delayed, including the following:

Good afternoon,

Some users have reported that the webDEALER system is experiencing intermittent performance

As a reminder, if you are unable to print buyer’s tags, you should use your pre-printed Internet
Down tags. Every dealer is allowed a minimum of 30 Internet Down tags. Please remember that
after using an Internet Down tag, you must enter the information for that tag into webDEALER
as soon as the system is accessible. Doing this, will ensure you always have the full allocation
of unused Internet Down tags available when you need them. Internet Down tags are valid for
one year from the date they are printed.

The issue with Counties approving and recording payments in webDEALER and the
payments associated to those transactions not reflecting on the Payments Completed
Page has been resolved. The transactions are now updating in RTS and webDEALER
appropriately.
IT Support was able to create the payment transactions from 6/19/2023-6/29/2023
that have been processed, and were missing from webDEALER.
As a reminder, a note will appear on these transactions as “Created by TxDMV”. We
will continue to closely monitor webDEALER payments to ensure there are no further
issues.

We continue to work on resolving the payment issue with Counties approving and
recording payments in webDEALER and the payments associated to those
transactions not reflecting on the Payments Completed page. The transactions do

number format for these transactions will reflect as P##### YYYY-MM-DD for Dealers
or C###### YYYY-MM-DD for Commercial Fleet Buyers. After selecting the reference
number hyperlink from the Payments Completed page, a note will appear on these
transactions under the Payment Details as “Created by TxDMV”.
Counties may continue to approve and record payments in webDEALER. We ask that
Counties NOT void transactions with missing payments so the payment records can
be created.
We will provide an update once the permanent fix is implemented.

Due to critical system issues which occurred last evening and overnight, the RTS report
generation process did experience some downtime, resulting in delayed reporting.
In some cases, report generation processes did not run last evening.
Here is the current status on RTS Bath Reporting and availability:
• The following reports did not run last night, 6/22:

○ Title Package Report
○ Batch Inventory Action
• The following reports can be run manually today for 6/22:
○ Title Package Report

• For CountyWide/Substation Summary:
○ Transactions from 6/22 will be included this evening’s reporting for 6/23
◘ Reports will be available tomorrow 6/24 after batch runs
• Finally, transactions were not created for IRENEW and TRENEW:
○ Transactions previously scheduled for 6/22 will be created tonight
for those scheduled for 6/23
◘ Cash Drawers 99 Report will be available tomorrow 6/24 after
batch runs
